BUTTERFLIES are the essence of rebirth. Anna and I, her mother, Cathy, often talked about what happens when we pass on. She and I agreed that it must be similar to the caterpillar and the butterfly. We thought that the butterfly also could symbolize rebirth on earth, such as surviving a possible fatal disease like Leukemia. Either way the Butterfly was a beautiful symbol of rebirth.
