In business since 2005, our mission is to provide quality jewelry and to bring joy, laughter, and hope to people struggling with a debilitating disease ;100% of all sales of Anna's Legacy Jewelry goes towards Leukemia Awareness & 25% of Lou Annes Garden Jewelry is donated to the. Susan G. Komen Foundation. 25% of all other sales goes to people fighting a debilitating disease.
Anna Michelle Collar (Our Inspiration)
was born August 26, 1980 in Powell, Wyoming and grew up in Darrouzett, Texas with her mother, Cathy, father, Randy, and two sisters Brandy and Jennifer. Anna had a passion for life and a smile that lit up any room she entered. Her friends and family remember her as always going out of her way to help others. Anna loved geology and was constantly picking up rocks and other treasures. She made plans to make jewelry out of her treasured stones. She was diagnosed with leukemia on October 14, 2004 and lost her battle on December 22, 2004.
Although we lost Anna, her dream of a jewelry line remained and is now being fulfilled by her mother, sisters and aunt. A percentage of all sales will go to Anna's Legacy; a group founded in Anna's name that has a desire "to bring joy, laughter, and hope to young people struggling with leukemia or other debilitating dieases," by sending Joy & Laughter Gifts & Making donations to various charities helping children and their families.
Anna's birthstones were Peridot and Carnelian. We were amazed to find that the colors of her birthstones are also the colors for Leukemia Awareness. After this discovery, we decided to produce a line of jewelry, using these stones for Leukemia Awareness. All the proceeds from the Anna's Legacy line of jewelry are going to Anna's Legacy & Leukemia Awareness!
