BUTTERFLIES are the essence of rebirth. Anna and I, her mother, Cathy, often talked about what happens when we pass on. She and I agreed that it must be similar to the caterpillar and the butterfly. We thought that the butterfly also could symbolize rebirth on earth, such as surviving a possible fatal disease like Leukemia. We decided that either way the Butterfly was a beautiful symbol of rebirth. Likewise; THE PEARL, is an old valued symbol of life reborn from something not quite polished to perfection, but through the loving hands of God molded into something beautiful. This Set is dedicated to the memory of Anna's Grandmother & my Mother, Lou Anne Johnson, Who Passed away in 2002 after a two year battle with Breast Cancer
